Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director for Merger Integrations and Carve‑Outs in Los Angeles. You will lead the MI & C team across the deal lifecycle, delivering large, complex engagements for PE clients and portfolio companies.

Role requires deep expertise in merger integration, divestitures, and transformation with travel up to 75%. The position offers leadership development and exposure to international assignments within A&M’s PEPI service line.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional consulting experience in merger integration, divestitures, business transformation and change management.
• Experience leading one or more work streams in a business transformation.
• MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide service excellence by identifying client issues and tailoring solutions.
• Lead the MI & C team across deal lifecycle from pre‑deal to post‑close.
• Deliver large, complex engagements with PE clients and portfolio companies.
• Oversee Day 1 readiness, integration roadmaps and organizational design.
• Travel up to 75% to support clients and assignments.
