Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Director for Merger Integrations and Carve‑outs in the US. You will lead Integration Management Office efforts across deals, driving large, complex client engagements and crafting creative business and technology solutions for PE clients and portfolio companies.

The role requires 10+ years in consulting, deep functional expertise, MBA preferred, and ability to travel up to 75%. You will guide day‑1 readiness, synergy planning, and organizational design while building

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional consulting experience, specializing in merger integration, divestitures, business transformation, and change management.
• Experience leading one or more work streams in a business transformation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide service excellence by identifying key client business issues and leading the entire Integration Management Office or focus areas.
• Deliver large, complex client engagements and implement creative business and technology solutions for PE clients and their portfolio companies.
• Lead Day 1 and Day 100 planning, execution, and performance improvement across strategic planning, operational optimization, and back‑office consolidation.
• Drive performance improvement assessments, oversee implementation of recommendations, and monitor progress.
• Ensure quality of deliverables and client relationships to deliver exceptional performance.
• Participate in proposal development and business‑development activities.
• Lead small engagements or components of large, complex engagements.
• Practice development: develop solutions and methodologies; participate in public speaking.
• People development: coach, staffing, recruitment and retention, support delivery teams in local offices.
