Metropolis in Austin, Texas is seeking a strategic Director, Business Development for Future Mobility. You will own a regional territory, drive net-new business, and negotiate deals, partnering with our Future Mobility team to expand our AI and computer vision solutions in parking and real estate.

The role requires 8+ years of B2B sales, a proven quota track record, and strong capabilities in complex deal structuring, CRM like Salesforce, and financial modeling.

Qualifications

8+ years in B2B sales or related roles.
Experience selling to real estate partners / asset managers.
Proven quota achievement in net-new, greenfield territories.
Strong negotiation and multi-threaded deal management.

Responsibilities

Own full sales cycle in a regional territory focused on Future Mobility.
Identify and develop net-new opportunities via multiple channels.
Translate pain points into tailored, solution-oriented proposals.
Lead client discovery, presentations, and proposals.
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and legal to align goals.
Monitor pipeline and sales performance in CRM; drive improvement.
Stay informed on industry trends to guide strategy.
Travel regionally to support clients and prospecting.
