Job summary

Insurance Office of America seeks a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead nationwide operations, focusing on workflow standardization, process improvement, and scalable delivery of client services.

The role partners with senior leadership to advance objectives, optimize performance, and support producers and account teams in a large brokerage setting. Remote work is available with occasional onsite needs as required.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) preferred.
• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience within a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
• Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute initiatives to strengthen Commercial Lines operations and performance.
• Identify operational challenges and implement scalable solutions for efficiency and client outcomes.
• Establish standardized workflows and best practices across the organization.
• Lead process improvements to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Analyze staffing models and capacity planning to support growth.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
• Promote EPIC usage and consulting on agency operations and systems.
