Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to lead national operating excellence for Commercial P&C. You will partner with senior leadership to standardize workflows, optimize processes, and drive strategic initiatives, including M&A integration, across the brokerage.

A strong license and industry designations are expected, with remote work favored and onsite flexibility per business needs.

Qualifications

Active Property & Casualty License required.
CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) preferred.
5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership within a large brokerage/agency.
Strong expertise in Commercial P&C agency operations, workflows, servicing models, and process optimization.
Experience with workflow standardization, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Experience conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable improvements.
Strong workforce planning, capacity modeling, and resource management experience.
Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and operational integration initiatives.
Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills.
Proven ability to influence leaders and drive results in a matrixed organization.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute Commercial Lines strategy with leadership to improve operations and performance.
Identify operational challenges and implement scalable, high-impact solutions.
Establish standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
Lead process improvements to boost productivity and consistency.
Evaluate issues via root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Analyze staffing and capacity to support growth and excellence.
Collaborate with Managed Services to align resources with goals.
Provide SME guidance on agency operations, EPIC, and tech usage.
Support M&A integration via assessments, planning, and alignment.
Drive change leadership and stakeholder engagement across teams.
