Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking a Director/VP, Commercial Lines to act as a national SME, partnering with leadership to standardize workflows, optimize operations, and drive growth. The role focuses on development, implementation, and transformation of the agency’s Commercial P&C operating model.

You will lead strategic initiatives, support M&A integration, and work with producers and operations to enhance client service and shareholder value.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of Commercial Lines operational leadership experience in a large insurance brokerage or agency.
• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• CPCU and/or CIC designation (or equivalent) preferred.
• Applied EPIC experience strongly preferred for workflow optimization and servicing models.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Lines Strategy: develop and execute initiatives to strengthen operations and performance.
• Operational Excellence: identify challenges and implement scalable efficiency improvements.
• Workflow Standardization: promote standardized Commercial Lines workflows and best practices.
• Process Optimization: lead initiatives to increase productivity and reduce variation.
• Root Cause Analysis: evaluate issues and implement corrective actions for sustainable improvements.
• Workforce Planning: analyze staffing and workload to develop capacity plans.
• Managed Services Alignment: ensure resources align with organizational goals.
• Technical Expertise: serve as a national Commercial P&C subject matter expert on workflows and systems.
• M&A Integration Support: assist with operational assessments and integration planning.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: build partnerships with producers, operations, and leadership for implementation.
• Systems & Technology Optimization: promote EPIC and other tools to improve performance.
• Performance Analysis: use metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Change Leadership: drive adoption of new processes across the organization.
• Professional Development: maintain leadership and industry expertise.
