Mastercard is seeking a Director for the North American B2B Secular Shift in the B2C Retail & Restaurants segment. The role focuses on driving growth through new payment flows and expanded distribution across NAM.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage clients, and close strategic deals, shaping the commercial strategy and value proposition for merchants and issuers.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on understanding of POS and Invoice Payments in the B2C Retail & Restaurants segment.
• Experience driving go-to-market strategies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to engage clients, identify high-potential opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the B2C Retail & Restaurants Secular Shift go-to-market strategy across NAM.
• Work cross-functionally with Commercial and New Payment Flows teams to partner and cross-sell solutions.
• Partner with Account and Business Development teams to engage clients, build opportunities, and close deals.
• Drive commercialization efforts with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Franchise, and Customer Delivery for seamless execution.
• Ensure customer-centric narratives and value propositions are reflected in deals and negotiations.
• Support client negotiations, lead or co-lead key deals, and align incentives with client needs.
• Track pipeline performance using SFDC and related tools to maintain momentum.
• Champion internal alignment across product groups, Finance, and Sales Excellence to gain leadership buy-in.
• Develop SMB growth strategies and scalable models for issuer portfolios.
• Create client materials, training sessions, and use-case content for SMB opportunities.
