Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Director of Pricing to lead monetization strategies for our AI portfolio. The role collaborates with product, engineering, finance, and sales to shape pricing and packaging across hardware and software solutions.

This hybrid position can be based in Seattle or San Jose, with consideration for 100% remote candidates in the USA. You will drive pricing reviews, elasticity analyses, and strategic negotiations with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in pricing strategy, revenue management, or business strategy in tech, cybersecurity, SaaS, or consulting.
• Experience with hardware, software, and services pricing models (subscription, consumption, perpetual).
• Experience with data analytics, financial modeling, and pricing elasticity methodologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience with pricing and analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute pricing strategies for Cisco’s AI products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product management, engineering, finance, operations, and sales) to deliver actionable pricing and packaging solutions.
• Conduct annual pricing reviews, competitive analysis, and market research to optimize monetization models and benchmark industry trends.
• Analyze customer behavior and price elasticity to refine pricing strategies.
• Partner with the broader team to build scalable pricing tools and capabilities.
• Expertise with Value based drivers and competitive pricing within the AI space.
• Proven track record of working with and challenging the thinking of product/sales organizations on initiatives related to product/solutions monetization and commercialization.
• Driving alignment with senior vice presidents across finance, product, renewal strategy and sales
