Job summary

Farther, a rapidly growing wealth-management platform, is seeking a Director on the Advisor Business Development team in New York to source and convert experienced financial advisors into opportunities. Build relationships, lead deals, and advance through discovery to signed agreements in a high-velocity environment.

You will drive outbound outreach, manage senior stakeholders, and align Farther’s value proposition with advisor growth goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales or business development experience with a track record of exceeding quota.
• Built pipeline through outbound efforts including cold outreach.
• Experience selling to sophisticated buyers in long sales cycles.
• Motivated by a high-velocity, high-variable compensation structure.
• Bachelor's degree and willingness to travel to Dallas for priority meetings.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage established advisory practices and teams through outbound, referrals, and network.
• Develop conversations into opportunities and book meetings with decision makers.
• Understand advisor practice economics and tailor Farther storytelling to fit.
• Own the full recruiting cycle from discovery to signed agreement.
• Hit pipeline and meeting targets toward annual AUM goals.
