Job summary

Farther is seeking a Director on the Advisor Business Development team to source and convert experienced financial advisors into opportunities. You will manage the full recruiting cycle from discovery to signed agreements and build a track record of results.

You will develop relationships with sophisticated buyers, book meetings with decision makers, and tailor the Farther story to each advisor's economics and growth goals. Travel to Dallas may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales or business development experience with quota attainment.
• Proven ability to build pipeline via outbound prospecting.
• Experience selling to sophisticated buyers through multi-month cycles.
• Motivated by a high-variable compensation plan.
• Bachelor's degree and willingness to travel to Dallas for priority prospect meetings.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage established advisors and teams through outbound, referrals, and network.
• Develop early conversations into qualified opportunities and book meetings with the right decision makers.
• Understand each advisor's practice economics, growth goals, and client base, and tailor the Farther story to fit.
• Grow into owning the full recruiting cycle, from platform demos through signed agreements, as you prove your track record.
• Consistently hit pipeline and meeting targets, building toward annual AUM goals.
