Job summary

Farther is a rapidly growing wealth management firm seeking a Director on our Advisor Business Development team. You will build relationships with experienced financial advisors and guide them from first conversation to signed agreements.

This senior individual contributor role rewards a long sales cycle with sophisticated buyers, a high-velocity, high-variance compensation structure, and opportunities to influence both growth and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales or business development experience with a proven quota track record.
• Experience building pipeline through outbound efforts and referrals.
• Ability to manage long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage established financial advisors and teams through targeted outbound, referrals, and your network.
• Own the full recruiting cycle, from discovery and platform demos through transition planning and signed agreements.
• Understand each advisor's practice economics, growth goals, and client base, and tailor the Farther story to fit.
• Partner with transitions, operations, and executive teams to deliver smooth moves for advisors you bring on.
• Consistently deliver against annual AUM targets with accurate forecasting.
