Job summary

ComServ Inc. in Taylorsville, NC is seeking energetic Direct Support Professionals to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities reach their personal goals in daily life and community settings.

You will provide personal care and daily living assistance, support independence, document progress, and participate in training. Flexible schedules and a supportive team culture are offered to promote safety and compassion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Preferred NC driver’s license with safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals to interact and become part of their community.
• Develop knowledge of the Person Centered Plan (PCP) to support individual goals.
• Provide adaptive skills training including personal care and daily living support.
• Offer meaningful activities based on individual preferences and program goals.
• May transport individuals in company or personal vehicle.
• Document and participate in company training sessions and staff meetings.
• Advocate for the rights of individuals we care for and adhere to regulatory standards.
