Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Morganton, NC seeks Direct Support Professionals to help individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities reach their life goals. Flexible schedules and sign-on bonuses for qualified full-time positions are offered.

You will assist with health, safety, and daily living in Day Activity Programs, Group Homes, or community settings, following Person Centered Plans and documenting duties as required.

Qualifications

• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen & background check.
• Preferred: valid North Carolina driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals to interact and participate in their community.
• Follow the Person Centered Plan (PCP) to achieve goals and wishes.
• Provide adaptive skills training and daily living assistance.
• Offer meaningful activities based on individual preferences and program goals.
• Document and manage medications as required.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and report concerns to supervision.
