Job summary

Comser is seeking energetic Direct Support Professionals in North Carolina to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities live fuller lives. The role involves assisting with daily living, community participation, and personal care in various settings including day programs and group homes.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to read, write, follow instructions, read directions, and perform basic math.
Pre-employment drug screen & background check.

Responsibilities

Assists individuals with daily living activities to maximize independence.
Supports community participation and social integration.
Provides transportation in company or personal vehicle when needed.
Performs meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, and personal care tasks.
Documents activities and participates in required training and staff meetings.
