Job summary

ComServ Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Morganton, NC. Flexible schedules, you will support health, safety, and wellbeing in Day Activity Programs, Group Homes, or Community Settings.

Responsibilities include promoting community engagement, implementing PCP plans, and delivering personal care and daily living assistance. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, pass background checks, and pass

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to read, write, follow instructions, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals to engage with their community and activities.
Develop knowledge of each individual's PCP and goals to support their wishes.
Provide personal care, daily living assistance, and social skills support as needed.
Provide meaningful activities based on individual preferences and program goals.
May assist with transportation and routine daily tasks.
Document and participate in required trainings and staff meetings.
Advocate for the rights of individuals and adhere to regulatory standards.
