Job summary

Bridgewell seeks a part-time Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings. This role involves daily living support, skills training, and ensuring safety during shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of relevant experience preferred, and a valid US driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills for clear documentation.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities for daily living support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based agency tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living skills support across shifts, including evenings and overnights.
• Assist with decision-making to foster independence and skill development.
• Document progress notes and required reports per regulatory standards and policies.
• Administer medications as per MAP regulations where applicable.
• Maintain safety and transport responsibilities for residents and programs.
