Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential settings. You will provide daily living support, skills training, and supervision within a home and community context.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and computer literacy, plus a valid driver's license; the schedule includes weekend shifts and on-call elements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 5+ years in the same role preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong organizational skills.
• Computer literacy; MS Office and agency web apps proficiency; must drive.

Responsibilities

• Provide skills training in activities of daily living across day/evening/overnight shifts.
• Support residents to develop independence and decision-making.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies in service delivery.
• Administer medications per MAP regulations and maintain required documentation.
• Drive a large vehicle or wheelchair van when needed; transport residents to activities.
