Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support people with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings. The role focuses on daily living skills, safety, and fostering independence, with specialized training in behavioral support and healthcare as needed.

Responsibilities include documentation, medication administration per MAP regulations, and collaboration with guardians and program staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 5+ years of verified experience in the same position is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with skills training in activities of daily living.
• Create opportunities for people to develop independence and make decisions.
• Deliver services according to regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
• Support medical, clinical and financial needs of people in our services.
• Transport and accompany people to activities outside the program.
• Maintain progress notes, shift checklists and required documentation.

Education
