Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist people with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings. The role involves daily intervention, supervision, and skills training to promote independence and safety.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED (or 5+ years of verified experience). Candidates must be able to drive a large vehicle, hold a valid US driver's license, and pass required trainings such as FA/CPR and MAP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 5+ years of verified experience in the same position is required.
• Experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with skills training in activities of daily living.
• Deliver services according to regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
• Transport and accompany individuals to medical, recreational, and other activities.
• Maintain progress notes, shift checklists, and required documentation.
• Administer medications according to MAP regulations.
