Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide day, evening and overnight support to individuals with developmental, physical and psychiatric disabilities in a residential program. The role focuses on promoting independence, skills training, and safe community participation.

Responsibilities include daily living support, documentation, medications administration, and community transport. A high school diploma or GED is required, with prior direct care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication required.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and web-based agency tools.
• Valid US driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with activities of daily living during day, evening and overnight hours.
• Help people develop independence and daily living skills.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies in care and documentation.
• Administer medications as directed and maintain medical documentation.
• Transport and accompany individuals to medical, recreational and community activities.
