Amivie, LLC is seeking Direct Support Professionals in North Carolina to provide compassionate care to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, mental health needs, or substance use issues. The role includes supporting daily living activities, skills development, and community integration, with attention to individualized plans and documentation.

DSPs must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and hold a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Background checks and health screening (TB) requirements may vary by state/program.

Responsabilidades

• Assist individuals with goals per the support plan.
• Help with ADLs (bathing, grooming, feeding) per plan.
• Safely transport individuals in company or personal vehicles.
• Accompany individuals to community activities.
• Complete documentation in the EHR timely.
• Engage with individuals at home and in the community.
• Uphold rights and advocate for individuals.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
• Follow policies to foster a professional environment.
• Establish professional boundaries.
• Mandated reporter; report abuse/neglect/exploitation.
• Administer prescribed medications after training.
• Proficient with technology.
• Remain awake and alert for shifts.
• Perform lifting and transfers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
