Job summary

Amivie, LLC is seeking a DSP in Wilmington, NC to provide direct care and support to individuals with ID/DD, mental health, or substance use challenges. You will support ADLs, documentation, and community integration while upholding dignity and rights.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, administering prescribed medications after training, safe transportation, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records in the EHR, all within a person-centered plan and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work with individuals with ID/DD and/or mental health needs.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass background checks.
• Proficiency with technology and documentation in EHRs.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with ADLs based on plan.
• Administer prescribed medications after training.
• Safely transport individuals in company vehicles for community integration.
• Complete documentation in the EHR timely.
• Engage individuals in day program and community activities.
