Job summary

Amivie, LLC in Asheville, NC is seeking part-time Direct Support Professionals to help individuals live their lives with dignity. You will build skills, support ADLs, document care in the EHR, and work closely with individuals, families, and team members.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, safely transporting clients, upholding HIPAA, and reporting any concerns promptly. Must be 18+, have a GED or HS diploma, valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and pass

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver’s license in good standing.
Reliable transportation.
Must successfully complete all background checks.
Must complete health screening (TB).

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with goal completion as documented in the individualized support plan.
Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and meal prep.
Safely transport individuals in company or personal vehicles.
Accompany individuals to community activities.
Complete all required documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) in a timely manner.
Engage with individuals in home and community while upholding rights and HIPAA compliance.
Adhere to company policies and core values; maintain professional boundaries.
Must be able to administer prescribed medications after training.
Perform physical tasks including lifting and transfers.
Other duties as assigned.
