ICM is seeking compassionate caregivers to support adults with daily living activities in Arkansas. You will assist with personal care, meals, and transportation while maintaining safety and dignity.

Documentation of daily progress is required for each shift. Applicants should have a high school diploma, be at least 18, and possess at least one year of relevant experience in public health or human services, or two years in developmental disabilities.

Formación

• High School or better.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• At least one year of relevant supervised work experience with public health, human services or other community service agency OR two years of verifiable successful history working with persons with developmental disabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Assist customers with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Plan menus, provide or arrange transportation for errands, and act as a companion.
• Observe customer condition and environment to ensure safety and report changes.
• Provide written daily updates of each shift’s activities using an online platform.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Providing quality care, direction, guidance, and help to customers with daily activities, such as bathing and bathroomfunctions, feeding, planning menus, dressing, grooming, taking medication and/or administering treatments, and housework.
• Help customers make and keep appointments, provide or arrange transportation to run errands and serve as a companion
• Help customer achieve agreed-upon goals to improve quality of life and integration into the community
• Provide written daily updates of each shift’s activities using an online platform
• Observe the customer’s condition and monitor the surroundings to ensure customer safety and success. This includes monitoring of equipment and materials

General Requirements for All ICM Employees

• Understands and endorses ICM’s mission and vision
• Follows all ICM policies, procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and asks for clarification and explanation when needed
• Understands and complies with all HIPAA regulations
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (some positions require additional education)
• Maintains prompt and regular attendance
