Job summary

Independent-Case-Management-Inc is seeking a compassionate home health aide to provide in-home support in Prescott, AR. You will assist with daily living activities and accompany clients to appointments, while ensuring safety and dignity in every interaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year of supervised work in public health/human services or related.
• OR 2 years of verifiable history working with persons with developmental disabilities.
• Valid AR Driver's License and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Providing quality care, direction, guidance, and help to customers with daily activities, such as bathing and bathroomfunctions, feeding, planning menus, dressing, grooming, taking medication and/or administering treatments, and housework.
• Help customers make and keep appointments, provide or arrange transportation to run errands and serve as a companion
• Help customer achieve agreed-upon goals to improve quality of life and integration into the community
• Provide written daily updates of each shift’s activities using an online platform
• Observe the customer’s condition and monitor the surroundings to ensure customer safety and success. This includes monitoring of equipment and materials
