Job summary

• Must be 18 years or older.
• At least 1 year of relevant supervised work in health, human services, or community service OR 2 years of history with persons with developmental disabilities.
• Valid Arkansas Driver's License and valid Auto Insurance.
• HIPAA compliance and willingness to follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, bathroom tasks) and help with medications or treatments.
• Help clients schedule and keep appointments, and arrange transportation for errands; serve as a companion.
• Monitor client condition and surroundings to ensure safety; document shift activities and observations.
• Perform other duties as assigned; use sound judgment and problem-solving.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors; demonstrate a positive work ethic.

Job description

• Providing quality care, direction, guidance, and help to customers with daily activities, such as bathing and bathroomfunctions, feeding, planning menus, dressing, grooming, taking medication and/or administering treatments, and housework.
• Help customers make and keep appointments, provide or arrange transportation to run errands and serve as a companion
• Help customer achieve agreed-upon goals to improve quality of life and integration into the community
• Provide written daily updates of each shift’s activities using an online platform
• Observe the customer’s condition and monitor the surroundings to ensure customer safety and success. This includes monitoring of equipment and materials
