National General is expanding its Direct Sales channel and seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive new business, cross-sell to existing customers, and build lasting relationships in local markets. You will work both in-store and over the phone, developing a strong pipeline through community outreach and referrals.

The role emphasizes understanding customer needs, delivering tailored insurance solutions, and maintaining a productive book of business with performance-driven incentives.

Qualificações

• 0–2 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
• P&C licensing preferred or must obtain within 90 days of joining.
• Willingness to perform in-person and phone-based sales.

Responsabilidades

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals.
• Develop relationships within the community to support business growth.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales.
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
