National General is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to drive growth by acquiring new business, cross-selling existing customers, and maintaining a strong book of business. The role focuses on local, in-person and phone-based sales, community involvement, and partnerships to fuel expansion.

Responsibilities include building a robust pipeline, outbound prospecting, and collaborating with leadership on sales and local marketing initiatives, while staying current on products and underwriting

Qualificações

• 0–2 years of experience.
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.

Responsabilidades

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations
