Job summary

National General is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist in Foley, AL to drive growth through new business, cross-selling, and retention. The role blends in-person and phone sales, building strong customer relationships and a robust local pipeline.

You will also partner with leaders on marketing initiatives, maintain knowledge of products and underwriting guidelines, and ensure high standards of compliance and customer experience.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience.
• P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.
• Includes local lead generation, referrals, and community outreach to grow the book of business.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline with local leads and referrals.
• Develop relationships within the community (dealerships, events, local partners).
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales.
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations.
