Job summary

Trident Seafoods in Alaska is seeking a Dining Hall Lead III to assist the Head Cook with food preparation and buffet-style service for employees, crew, and customers. This role requires flexibility and the ability to learn multiple galley stations.

The position includes responsibilities such as food prep, cleaning, inventory, and maintaining a safe, clean kitchen. Housing may be available with a daily co-pay for room and board when residing in Trident housing.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s card; required within 30 days of employment.
• Has worked in a Lead position at a Trident location for a minimum of 3+ years.
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation under the guidance of Head Cook.
• Learn different galley roles and assist as needed.
• Perform routine deep cleaning of cooking area and maintain hygiene standards.
• Washes dishes, cleans tables and floors, and restocks supplies.
• Notify personnel of safety incidents and help follow environmental policies.
