Job summary

Trident Seafoods Corporation seeks a Kitchen Helper in Alaska to support the dining hall and galley operations. You will assist with food preparation, cleaning, dishwashing, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment while learning various galley roles under senior supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting Head Cook, stocking, inventory, and adhering to environmental and safety policies. This role emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and attention to food safety in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Food Handler's card required within 30 days of employment.
• Has worked in a Key position at a Trident location for a minimum of 1 year.
• One year certificate from college or technical school or 3–6 months related experience and/or training.
• HS Diploma or equivalent (or degree, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Prepare food under the guidance of Head Cook.
• Learn the different galley roles under supervision of Cook.
• Food prep, cleaning, dishwashing, baking, restocking, inventory counts.
• Deep cleaning of cooking area.
• Wash dishes and cookware; clean tables and floors; take out trash.
• Maintain a clean working environment.
• Perform other similar or related duties as requested.
