Job summary

Trident Seafoods Corporation is seeking a kitchen/galley helper to support food preparation and service for employees and crew in Alaska. You will learn multiple galley roles under the guidance of the Head Cook and assist with standard kitchen duties.

Responsibilities include food prep, cleaning, dishwashing, baking, restocking, and inventory, plus maintaining a clean working environment, and following safety policies. Medical insurance in Alaska is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Food Handler’s card required within 30 days of employment.
• One year certificate from college or technical school or 3–6 months related experience and/or training.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food under the guidance of Head Cook.
• Learn and perform the different galley roles under supervision.
• Food prep, cleaning, dishwashing, baking, restocking, inventory counts.
• Perform routine deep cleaning of cooking area.
• Washes dishes and cookware, cleans tables and floors, empties trash.
• Maintains a clean working environment.
