Trident Seafoods in Alaska is hiring a kitchen helper to assist in the dining hall and galley, preparing meals and supporting staff in a fast-paced environment.

You will learn multiple roles under the Head Cook, handle food prep, cleaning, and inventory, and ensure a clean, safe workspace. The position emphasizes safety training and compliance with environmental policies.

Formación

• Food Handler’s card required within 30 days of employment.
• Preferred: 1 year certificate from college or technical school, or 3–6 months related experience.
• HS Diploma or equivalent or degree, etc.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare food under the guidance of Head Cook.
• Must demonstrate the ability to be flexible and to learn the different roles in the galley under the supervision of the Cook (Head Cook).
• Food prep, cleaning, dishwashing, baking, restocking, inventory counts.
• Performs routine deep cleaning of cooking area.
• Washes dishes and cookware, cleans tables and floors, empties trash.
• Maintains a clean working environment.
• Acquire knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
