Job summary

NC State Dining at NC State University seeks a Food Services Supervisor for Clark Dining Hall in Raleigh to lead high‑volume service. You will supervise shifts, ensure quality, safety, and compliance with standards while delivering outstanding customer experiences in a fast‑paced environment.

This hands‑on role requires a proactive leader who can schedule staff, train teams, and respond to operational needs with professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in food preparation or service activities in a commercial kitchen.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Proficient with computers and able to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dining hall operations during assigned shifts.
• Model excellent customer service and uphold safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with NC State Dining policies and procedures.
• Schedule staff and support training to promote teamwork and service excellence.
• Communicate with staff, customers, and supervisors to address operational needs.
