Black Bear Diner is seeking an Assistant Manager to act as the right hand to the General Manager. You will lead shifts, oversee front and back of house operations, hire and train team members, and ensure guests receive fast, friendly service with high-quality food.

The role requires supervising staffing, controlling costs, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards. Strong communication and leadership are essential for daily success.

Qualifikationen

• High School or GED is required; some college preferred.
• ServSafe certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Previous restaurant management experience preferred.
• No one under 21 years old is allowed to be a Diner Manager.

Aufgaben

• Lead shift in GM's absence and coordinate daily operations.
• Hire and train team members and manage staffing levels.
• Ensure guest service is fast, friendly and food quality is high.
• Monitor costs, analyze P&L and adjust operations accordingly.
• Maintain compliance with safety, sanitation and company standards.
