Black Bear Diner Salem is seeking an EXPERIENCED Assistant Manager to be the right hand of the General Manager, overseeing planning, training and leadership to hit sales, cost and profitability targets. You may lead a shift solo and ensure fast, friendly service with high quality food.

You will supervise front and back of house, develop Team Members, handle scheduling and payroll, and maintain health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as restaurant assistant manager preferred.
• Ability to lead shifts and manage front/back of house.
• Knowledge of inventory and cost controls.
• Payroll processing and scheduling experience.
