Job summary

RTX’s Advanced Effector Guidance Systems (AEGS) Department seeks an Electrical Subsystems Digital Principal Engineer to lead or support digital design efforts for development guidance systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentors within RTX, contributing to subsystem architecture and requirements while traveling as needed.

Qualified candidates bring eight years of related experience in analog/digital/power electronics and hold an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in STEM and 8+ years of related experience.
• Experience in analog, digital, and power electronics design, integration, and production support.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required before start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support digital design efforts for development guidance systems.
• Collaborate with functional and program management across teams.
• Assist in design reviews and CAM responsibilities as needed.
• Mentor and be mentored within RTX culture.
• Coordinate with customers and suppliers as part of development cycles.
• Travel up to ~25% as required.
