Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Subsystems Digital Principal Engineer to lead or support digital design for development guidance systems within the Advanced Effector Guidance Systems department. You will collaborate with multiple teams, mentor colleagues, and may travel up to 25% to support hardware lifecycle activities.

The role requires a STEM bachelor’s degree, 8+ years of experience in analog/digital/power electronics, and an active DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related engineering field and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in analog, digital and power electronics design and integration.
• Active and transferable U.S. government Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support digital design efforts for development guidance systems.
• Collaborate with functional and program management; mentor/mentee relationships.
• Travel up to ~25% as needed; participate in design reviews and test plans.
