Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Subsystems Digital Principal Engineer to lead digital design efforts for guidance systems within the Advanced Effector Guidance Systems Department. You will architect digital subsystems, support CVA design, and collaborate with program teams while mentoring other engineers.

Ideal candidates have a DoD Secret clearance, strong background in analog/digital/power electronics, and experience in complex subsystem architectures across ECAD tools and testing environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in analog, digital and power electronics design.
• Subsystem architecture and decompose high-level requirements.
• Experience with Digital subsystems and CCA design.
• Active and transferable DoD Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support digital design efforts for development guidance systems.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines and programs.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in peer reviews.
• Travel up to ~25% as required.
• Document subsystem requirements and test plans, conduct design reviews.
