Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Subsystems Digital Senior Principal Engineer in Tucson, AZ. This role leads digital design efforts for guidance systems, manages program execution, and collaborates with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

A DoD Secret clearance is required and relocation may be considered for eligible candidates. The candidate will work in the Advanced Effector Guidance Systems department, focusing on FPGA-based digital design, system integration, and lifecycle

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science/Technology/Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
Experience in digital sub-systems, systems engineering, and requirement development
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required

Responsibilities

Lead digital design efforts for development guidance systems.
Accountable for program execution including cost, schedule and technical oversight.
Support component level design and test reviews.
Mentor and be mentored within the team.
Collaborate with functional and program management, customers and suppliers.
