Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Subsystems Digital Senior Principal Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary digital design and subsystem architecture for guidance systems. The role includes CAM responsibilities and ensures program execution with cost, schedule, and technical oversight.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years in digital/analog electronics, system engineering, and experience with complex hardware development and government customer interactions. Relocation may be offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM and minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
Experience in analog, digital and power electronics design, integration, and production support.
Active and transferable DoD Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Lead Digital Design Efforts for development guidance systems.
Lead the architectural development of the guidance subsystem through trade studies, requirements decomposition and detailed design.
Accountable for program execution including cost, schedule and technical oversight throughout the early development lifecycle.
Support component level design and test reviews.

Assignments may require travel (~25%).
Lead hardware system lifecycle activities including design, analysis, requirements, test plans, peer reviews, and presentations.
