Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to build meaningful relationships with customers across in-person, appointment, and virtual channels. You will assess banking needs, educate clients on products, and open new accounts while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

You will work with branch teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience, using digital tools for self-service and education. A strong focus on proactive outreach and personalized advice is required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach.
• Ability to engage and communicate effectively with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank policies, procedures and support systems.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
• Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset.
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients across multiple channels including in-person, by appointment, and virtually.
• Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services and recommend solutions based on each customer’s goals.
• Open new consumer and business accounts and process basic transactions.
• Collaborate with branch team members to serve clients with operational excellence and accuracy.
