Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to engage customers across in-person, appointment, and virtual channels. You will assess banking needs, explain deposit and loan products, process basic transactions, and open new accounts. Emphasis on a digital-first mindset and excellent client service throughout interactions.

You will work with branch teams to serve clients, using digital tools and services to meet financial goals. Strong communication and knowledge of bank policies are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
• Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset.
• Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively.
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
