Job summary

Capital One seeks a Café Ambassador in Tampa to be the face of its mission, guiding guests through digital banking and community engagement. You’ll move through the Café, delivering high-energy customer experiences without traditional sales pressure.

You’ll help customers master mobile tools, host local events promoting financial health, and uphold compliant, supportive service while building a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience.
• Preferred: associate’s degree; 2+ years of banking experience; 2+ years of retail or customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Be a Natural Connector: engage guests in a high-energy environment.
• Serve as a Brand Advocate: discuss Capital One value through conversation, not transactions.
• Guide customers through our digital ecosystem and mobile tools.
• Host and support local events that promote financial health and community.
• Advocate for customers, problem-solve, and ensure compliant issue resolution.
• Foster an inclusive culture and be a collaborative team player.
• Move throughout the Cafe, staying engaged with the community all day.
