Capital One Café Ambassador in Durham, NC, is the face of our mission to change banking for good. You’ll move through the Café, guiding guests with digital banking and human connection, not behind a counter.

This role focuses on brand advocacy, helping customers explore mobile tools, hosting community events, and delivering exceptional service without traditional sales pressure. You’ll stay agile in a fast-paced, inclusive cafe environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, helpful demeanor.
• Ability to navigate digital tools and mobile apps.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be a Natural Connector: engage with guests in a high-energy environment.
• Serve as a Brand Advocate: share Capital One’s products via conversation, not transactions.
• Guide customers through our digital ecosystem and mobile tools.
• Host and support local events promoting financial health.
• Advocate, problem-solve, and resolve issues with compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Stay adaptable and collaborate with the team in a cafe setting.
