PACS is seeking a reliable dietary aide to support our post-acute care operations. You will learn the food service routine quickly, set up meal trays, and assist with serving meals in a hospital or post-acute setting.

You will be responsible for dishwashing, tray removal, and maintaining cleanliness. The role involves measuring water temperatures, assisting with nourishments, and supporting staff training as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly.
• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Check and record water temperatures of the dishwasher.
• Operate dishwasher and maintain sanitation of kitchen surfaces.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; sweep and mop kitchen.
• Carry out trash and keep storage areas clean.
• Support orientation and training of dietary staff.
