PACS is hiring a Dietary Aide to support meal service and kitchen operations in a post-acute care setting. The role includes learning the food service routine quickly, setting up meal trays, assisting with serving, and maintaining kitchen sanitation.

• Ability to read and follow technical procedures.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers and staff.
• Ability to perform fractions, percentages and ratios in routine tasks.
• Ability to work cooperatively with all departments.

Responsibilities

• Learn the food service routine within a short period.
• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down and wash returned trays; operate the dishwasher.
• Check chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwashing machine.
• Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen; sweep and mop floors.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; carry out trash disposal.
• Leave kitchen clean and ready for the next shift; participate in training.
