Job summary

PACS is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our post-acute care facilities. You will learn the food service routine quickly, set up meal trays, strip and wash returned trays, assist with serving meals, and monitor dishwashing temperatures.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a food handlers' certificate. You will work under the Cook and Dietary supervisor, maintain cleanliness, and participate in ongoing training while cooperating with all departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain a food handlers' certificate.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Ability to work quickly within food service routines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays.
• Strip down returned trays and start washing dishes.
• Assist with serving the different meals.
• Operate dishwasher.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks.
• Sweep and mop kitchen.
• Carry out trash and garbage.
• Keep the kitchen clean and sanitary.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training.
• Cooperate with personnel in all departments.
