Job summary

PACS is seeking a Dietary Aide to support daily kitchen operations in a post-acute care setting. You will learn routines quickly, set up meal trays, assist with serving meals, and help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen environment.

Strong reading skills, the ability to follow recipes and procedures, and respectful cooperation with dietary and other staff are essential. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and follow instructions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Check and record chlorine concentration and water temperature of dishwashing machine.
• Operate dishwasher and maintain cleanliness of kitchen.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks; sweep and mop kitchen.
• Assist with orientation and training of dietary staff.
