McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Mechanic II to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on trailer refrigeration systems and other diesel equipment.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems, read service bulletins, and complete paperwork; on-call and road calls may be required; on-site shop environment. The role requires the ability to work independently and in a team, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Trade school in heavy duty diesel repairs or refrigeration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform the functions of a Grade 4 Mechanic.
• Maintain and repair trailer refrigeration.
• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Diagnose, remove, repair, or rebuild components without supervision.
• Read service bulletins and manuals; complete paperwork and input data.
